No. Open Scan and hold the card in the camera view. HoloGem automatically detects the card, corrects the perspective and reads identifying details such as the card name and collector number. So there is no cropping step and nothing to type in.

For the best results, keep the full card visible and avoid strong reflections or glare, especially on foil cards. If recognition is difficult, follow the Snap Tips shown in the scanner or try another angle. If there is no result for your card, you can try to search for it manually as well. You can also import a card image from your photo library.
